Uni club!!! Daily fresh uni every day per the waitress. Totally can’t beat that. 😣We only came here to tickle my uni craving and everything on their menu had uni in it. I had the tuna wrap and a fresh uni from their daily collection.

If you love sea urchin. Than you will love this place; however, it is around $40 a plate. It's worth it but go for only a special occasion.

Found this place through youtube video. Only wish I knew this place way before because the sea urchin is delicious!Highly recommends this pace for anyone who is looking for sea urchin. Their sashimi is mediocre, I wouldn't recommend it, but everything else has been quite consistent! Love this place and highly recommends people to try!

As promised, this restaurant has uni everywhere: in a tank in front of you, on the menu in front of you, and on basically every plate you can order. The service was impeccable and parking is easy. My biggest gripe is how expensive everything is, how insubstantial your meal ends up being, and how everything simply all tastes like uni. If I was an uni-aficionado, this would be the perfect restaurant for me, no doubt. But if you are a casual Japanese cuisine aficionado, you would enjoy your time at other restaurants more

To be clear: I do not like to eat uni, so I was reluctantly dragged here. The Uni fan said it was great, but I got the chef's selection of nigiri. Everything was amazing, and I even got to sit at the bar and get personally briefed by the chef for each course.

If you love uni then you'll love this place. Worth every dollar spent here.

I would give this place ten stars if I could. This place is amazing. All the food here was delicious! Service was great. All the staff was super friendly. Nice relaxing environment. I haven't had Uni this good in a while. And the prices are super reasonable. Oh man, so good!

Love this family-owned uni place. I live in NoCal but make sure that i pay this place a visit every time that I’m in the area. Nothing in the Bay Area can beat the Torrance area when it comes to authentic Japanese food. Any type of uni variety you can think of. I love the Gozen, and get it every time. BUT - the uni spaghetti is definitely a MUST try! So creamyunilicious. Please check this place out and keep this place going for as long as we live 😬

Very neat and convenient spot. They provide generous meals and for reasonable prices. I loved the menu very much and the waiters were very friendly and chatty. I recommend this place.

Good place for UNI! Many iterations of uni. Highly recommended if you love all things uni. The other sushi was mostly okay. If you are not a fan of uni there would not be much for you here. The presentation also excelled!

My first experience with Santa Barbara sea urchin. I gotta say I am satisfied. Sashimi, sushi rice, soup were all well prepared and beautifully presented as well. You get what you pay for. Expect to pay about $40+ per person but you won’t regret! おいしかったです！

Sea urchin taste very close to Japanese sea urchin, very fresh and sweet, no fishy taste. Sashimi is also very fresh. The set has great value. Definitely worth what you paid for.

If you love uni you will love this place. Splurge and get the premium uni.

I don't eat uni because I don't like its smell and the texture but it was amazing at Maruhide. We tried the $50 combo, I think it was #12 and the uni pasta. Sashimi was fresh and the al dente pasta was delicious. Both grilled and regular uni (from Alaska) were so buttery and yummy! We both agreed that this was the best uni we've ever had but I don't know if I will go back. Ambiance wasn't too great for an avg of $40-60/pp restaurant.

Their Saturday's sushi is the best. Friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Reasonable price for the quality we received. It is highly recommended for special occasions.

Fresh uni here is so good! I liked the fresh more than the grilled. All of the sashimi was super fresh as well.
